Oregano - Garlic - Chili Bread

1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped, or 1 teaspoon dried
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/8 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 loaf Italian bread, split in half, lengthwise

Stir together first 5 ingredients.  Spread over cut sides of bread.  Wrap in foil; bake at 350 for 15 minutes.  Serve warm.
